La fibra de vidrio continua de gran resistencia a la tracci\u00f3n resiste el efecto de la presi\u00f3n interna, mientras que las fibras cortadas ofrecen una excelente resistencia a las cargas axiales, al impacto y la manipulaci\u00f3n. El laminado estructural est\u00e1 formado por capas altamente reforzadas, separadas por un n\u00facleo compacto y reforzado con arena de s\u00edlice para conseguir la rigidez \u00f3ptima. Junto con las capas de protecci\u00f3n, esta construcci\u00f3n le otorga la facilidad de resistir las altas presiones internas y mantener una excelente rigidez a largo plazo.<\/p>\n<p>Las tuber\u00edas Flowtite con\u00a0<strong>tecnolog\u00eda Flowtite<\/strong>\u00a0se fabrican mediante un proceso de mandril de avance continuo. Este proceso permite el uso continuo de refuerzos con fibra de vidrio en direcci\u00f3n circunferencial. Para una tuber\u00eda de presi\u00f3n o conducci\u00f3n enterrada, la tensi\u00f3n principal se genera en la direcci\u00f3n circunferencial, de forma que se incorporan refuerzos continuos en esta direcci\u00f3n para lograr un producto de mejor rendimiento a un precio m\u00e1s bajo. Se crea un laminado muy compacto que maximiza la contribuci\u00f3n de las tres materias primas b\u00e1sicas: Se incorporan tanto fibras cont\u00ednuas como cortadas para conseguir una mayor resistencia en sentido circunferencial y axial, as\u00ed como la arena de s\u00edlice que proporciona una mayor rigidez a\u00f1adiendo m\u00e1s espesor. Con el sistema de aplicaci\u00f3n de resina dual Flowtite, el equipo puede aplicar un revestimiento interno de resina especial para aplicaciones extremadamente corrosivas, mientras se usa una resina de tipo est\u00e1ndar para la parte estructural y externa del laminado. Pueden usarse otros materiales, como el velo de vidrio o el velo de poli\u00e9ster, para mejorar la abrasi\u00f3n, la resistencia qu\u00edmica y el acabado de la tuber\u00eda.<\/p>\n<p>La m\u00e1quina de fabricaci\u00f3n del filamento enrollado consiste en un mandril de banda de acero continuo soportado por vigas en forma cil\u00edndrica. A medida que los cilindros giran, la fricci\u00f3n tira de la banda de acero y el rodamiento de rodillos permite que la banda se mueva longitudinalmente para que todo el mandril se mueva en espiral hacia la salida del montaje. A medida que el mandril rota, todos los materiales compuestos se dosifican continuamente en \u00e9l en cantidades exactas con la ayuda de sensores electr\u00f3nicos.
